Meet the Team
Before joining Vivien Maier and Associates, Inc, Suzanne spent most of her career working in the hospitality industry in operations, food and beverage, and sales for luxury hotels and venues.
In 2017, Vivien Maier retired after 25 years working in the meeting and event industry. Suzanne took the helm and along with the VMA team will continue to offer an eye for detail and a sense for creative solutions to VMA clients.
Senior Event Manager and Director of Operations
From her first official event, Bike to Work Day, to coordinating four remote speakers at an international conference, Melissa has nearly done it all. You'll also see her on-site at events, working to make sure everything is running smoothly. In addition, she's our in-office IT person, handles our social media efforts and manages our website.
Sarah is a transplant to the Pacific Northwest from the Washington, DC area. Her background is in Human Resource Management, having spent 13 years at a major cruise line designated to their Hotel and Transportation divisions. She also worked as an office manager and legal assistant for 8 years prior to joining VMA Global Events in January 2017. Sarah is an organizational wizard and uses these skills to the keep the administrative engine for all of VMAs conference and event work moving smoothly.
With a dedication for customer service, Andrea cares deeply about her clients and is dedicated to ensuring a seamless event. She is a native of Chicago and relocated to Seattle 7 years ago where she enjoys everything that the Emerald City has to offer. As part of the VMA team, she manages speakers, conference logistics, shipping, webcasting, and audio visual.
Founder and Planner Emeritas
In 1993, Vivien founded Vivien Maier and Associates, Inc. and never looked back. She organized and executed countless events and conferences in the United States, Europe and Asia until her retirement in 2016. Now she travels for fun and spends her time managing her garden instead of conferences.
